Main PyAOS Mailing List
About and (Un)Subscribing
The PyAOS mailing list (subscribe/unsubscribe page) is open for user discussion about AOS Python topics. It is not meant to duplicate the mailing lists for the various modules and packages that already exist, but rather is for discussion about general issues in applying Python to AOS applications, interactions between packages, ideas for getting things done, etc. Periodically, we also send out an email linking to a Featured Tip. In general, the list is moderated; however, the mailing list is set so that people who submit posts will not receive a notice that their post is awaiting disposition.
The PyAOS mailing list is archived, but the archives are available only to mailing list subscribers.
While the mailing list is available anytime for members to post (though moderated), we host “Scheduled Discussions” to better facilitate focused discussion on a single topic. During that period, the mailing list may have multiple posts during a day, so you may want to switch to digest mode for that period if you’re not interested in multiple emails.

- 2012 Feb 1–4: What was one of the neatest things you discovered at the 2012 AMS Python Symposium (Host: Johnny Lin).
